PSL-RHEOTEK JETVISC

Aviation Fuel Kinematic Viscosity - ASTM D445, IP71, ISO 3104
The RHEOTEK JETVISCTMAutomated Viscometer is suitable for determining the kinematic viscosity of jet fuels in the temperature range -40 to +20oC.

The analyzer has been specifically developed for sub-zero kinematic viscosity determinations, overcoming the problems normally associated with these applications.

International aviation fuel specifications ASTM D1655 & DEF STAN 91:91 require kinematic viscosity to be determined in compliance with ASTM D445 or IP 71.

No other ASTM methods or measuring techniques meet the above requirements either as a compliant method or as a correlation to the above methods.

Key features include:
  • Fully meets ASTM D445 with excellent precision
  • ASTM Ubbelohde viscometer tube, with independent ISO17025 calibration
  • High resolution touch screen
  • Automatic standby and eco modes
  • Small volume of cleaning solvent
  • Result database, LIMS and USB ports
  • Real time tutorial & diagnostic screens

Advantages:
  • Reliable analyzer, developed for sub-zero applications
  • Low maintenance
  • User friendly for operators
  • Compliance with test methodology
  • Precise results
  • Expandable configurations for other applications

Typical applications include:
  • Jet A or Jet A-1 at -20oC
  • Other aviation turbine fuels at -40, -20, +20oC
  • Kerosenes at +20oC
  • Optional diesels at +40oC
